PBRC welcomes all Pit Bull type dogs including APBTs, AmStaffs, StaffyBulls, Pit Bull mixes and other bully breeds. Location and contact information is included on each page. All dogs listed are in independent foster care, private rescue organizations, or public animal shelters. PBRC is not responsible for the dogs listed or their placement. We recommend that you read our Breed Info page before adopting a Pit Bull dog. If you are interested in giving a permanent home to a dog listed with PBRC, please note the dog's name, location and ID number, and fill out an Application. Your application will be reviewed by a volunteer and sent to the caretakers of the dogs you're interested in.

IMPORTANT: This is a PRE-adoption application. Caretakers are encouraged to conduct additional evaluations, interviews, reference checks and home visits prior to approving an adoption.

PBRC is not responsible for adoption decisions. All decisions are solely up to the caretaker.
