Biography
Maggie is a sweet, loving pit bull who is about 11 months old and weighs about 40 pounds. She was rescued last June from a neighbor's yard where she had been tied to a tree at the back of their property for at least a month. She had been left with no food or water for days in 90 degree heat. Despite this awful situation, Maggie is full of love and energy. Maggie LOVES people and other dogs. She is constantly trying to jump in our laps, as she is very affectionate . She has been playing with a pack of 7 dogs (all varieties) and has had no trouble socializing with any of them. She was originally in a family with small children and to my knowledge did fine with them. Maggie needs some work in respect to cats, and her house training (she is living in a barn) Maggie will make a wonderful, loving companion for someone!! She has been through a lot in the past few months, and I'm sure a stable home life with a lot of love and attention would mean the world to this sweet, sweet girl. She is very smart and knows "sit" and "come". Maggie is spayed, up to date on all shots. She is heart worm negative and on preventative.
