| Biography |
Starla has been passed around from foster home to foster home, with her origins traced
back to the Wake County shelter, from where she was originally pulled. The problem is
most people who foster pit bulls are already pet lovers, and poor Miss Starla doesn’t like
other animals, especially cats! She will get along with the occasional nonchalant dog her
size that could care less about her presence, but other than that, she needs to be an only
pet. If not for her disdain for other animals, Starla is a perfect companion. She is one of the
quietest dogs we’ve ever encountered while spending time in her crate, and she walks very
gently on her leash despite her large size. She also loves to cuddle, play with her squeaky
tennis ball, and receive rubs & massages all over her big blue body. From her personality
and easygoing way, we also expect she would do great with children. Starla would be a
great companion for a family or single person looking for just one pet to spend their days
with, and would even be suitable for an elderly couple or person. We are really looking
forward to the day when Starla finally reaches the place she calls home.
