Reason Available Starving stray. We kind of think she might be a cattle dog mix instead of a pit bull mix but at this point we are not sure. Her personality is cattle dog and she lost her home for herding livestock and upsetting the horses.
Biography
Trinity is a petite spayed female pit bull who has persevered despite a rough life so far. She was
found close to death in the woods near a local horse stable in late December. The kind folks at
the stable took her in and nursed her back to health with the help of their vet. She was literally
skin and bones when they found her, but she has filled out nicely now at about 40 pounds.
Trinity is a unusual looking gal with distinctive markings that set her apart from the rest! Her coat
is short and sleek with a buff/gray undercoat and nice black frosting. Her black mask and perky
ears give her a quizzical expression almost all the time. She stands just about knee height on
a person standing about 5’3”. She is a easy going gal who is calm and gentle. She has
been living with a very large male German Shepherd and a female yellow lab at the stable, so
she appears to get along well with other dogs at the present time. We understand that she used
to sleep on top of the German Shepherd like he was her pillow. Of course, that could be subject
to change as she matures as we believe she is a young gal about a year or so old. She has the
demeanor of a more mature dog – probably because she never had much time to be a puppy
due to the less than stellar life she’s let so far. Trinity walks well on a leash and rides very well
in a car – sleeps like a baby. She seems to crate well thus far with no barking or protest. We
thought this sweet gal deserves a chance at the good life.
