That's one pretty Pepper...

Tito loves to give kisses...
North Carolina
Tito would make a great companion for an active family. Tito enjoys other dogs, mostly females and plays very rambunctiously. He loves to give kisses too and enjoys belly rubs. Experience with the breed a plus. You may also enjoy him viewing him under www.bwar.org or Brother Wolf Rescue. more

Patch is an obedient girl...
North Carolina
Patch is an awesome young pitty girl. She's so obedient, she sits, lies down, and shakes. She quite intelligent and learns rapidly. I think she would enjoy training. She's never met a person she didn't love, and would prefer to be the only dog in your house. She has been tested with older children will be a good match for them. I think Patch looks like a queen--see her head held high. more

Ellie Mae loves the water...
Texas
Ellie Mae came to stay with me and my 3 year old female Pit Bull Mabel in the middle of May. She was a scrawny 9 month old - 35 lb puppy that had spent most of her young life in a kennel and hadn’t had the freedom to develop her personality. But, as soon as I met her I could tell immediately that it was going to be a blast watching her figure it out! Now she is a 50 lb young lady who is loves dock diving, swimming, agility, learning new tricks, singing, making me laugh, the dog park, squeaky toys, bones, kisses, and cuddling. more

Ox is a sweet old guy...
Oregon
Ox is having a difficult time living at our shelter. Even though he is let out of his kennel three to four times a day to run freely in the 2 acre yard, he seems to be very depressed. Ox probably needs to be an only child, or he might be okay with a submissive female, and a good fenced yard is suggested. He is a very sweet guy who loves attention, he is kind and gentle with every human he has come in contact with. more

Bring something Rosy into your life...
Arizona
Rosy was found as a stray and currently lives with several other dogs. She is great dog, very submissive and loves to be around people and other dogs. Her best friend is a golden retriever right now! She is great yard dog and is very sweet, loves to be picked up and held and enjoys belly rubs. Although she has a big comfy bed, Rosy's favority napping place is a flower pot on a sun porch as you can see from one of her pictures. more

Give Blaze a chance...
Alabama
Blaze was rescued a little more than a year ago as a 6 month old puppy on his way to the pound because the guy that owned him didn't have money to party in Atlanta over the weekend AND kennel his dog while he was gone! Despite a full house I couldn't let this guy go, there was just something in his eyes. Blaze is a very sweet, affectionate, high energy guy. more

Vivacious Viva!...
Texas
Meet gorgeous Viva! Viva is a black and white, medium-sized and beautifully compact American Pit Bull Terrier. And is this girl vivacious! (Hence her name.) Viva was found as a stray, and she desperately needs a foster to love on her. She is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. If she had a companion to take her running, I think she would be in Heaven. more

Kolby's a lover, not a fighter...
Pennsylvania
Kolby is a 1+ year old American Pit Bull Terrier. He came to Pittsburgh by way of the largest federal dog fighting bust in US history. Members of Hello Bully met Kolby on trips to volunteer for the Humane Society of Missouri to care for these dogs (known as the Missouri 500). Kolby came to Pittsburgh with no life experience of living in a home. He had spent most of his life on a chain. All of the things in the life of a normal dog were new to him. more

Meet Mickey...
Pennsylvania
Mickey's an extremely affectionate and sweet boy. He was adopted from our shelter to a wonderful family, but he, unfortunately, didn't get along with their cat, and they tearfully (literally) had to return him. Other than the "cat issue," they said he's "absolutely wonderful." Volunteer Comments #1 - All I can say is "WOW!" Mickey's one of THE BEST dogs, never mind pit mix, that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I took him to a fundraiser yesterday, and he was a HIT with men, women, and kids. more

Kimo is a real sweetheart...
New Mexico
Meet KiMo.... He's about 4-6 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. He is a mixture of Shar Pei and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He has Shar Pei hair and wrinkles on his face but he has the body of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is a REAL sweetheart and deserves so much more than the life he was currently living which included wearing a seat belt as a collar, which had cut into his neck, being covered with ticks, and just not being loved the way he deserves. more
