Bunny loves to hang out with shelter staff and volunteers, she is housebroken and follows us around content to be near us. She enjoys turning green rolling around in the grass and catching bugs in her mouth. Bunny is a real people-dog who will be someone's loyal and best friend.  more

Sarah Jane Petunia's as pretty as a flower

She is a wonderfully sweet and intelligent dog. She loves playing with her ball and any game you want to teach her. She is eager to learn new tricks and learns them quickly. She has basic obedience of sit, back and stay. She is so much a puppy still and needs to be reminded when it's time to calm down. But she is just as happy laying on the floor beside your chair as running around in the yard. She has mild allergies and may need medication to prevent licking hot spots if she is left alone. more

Clyde is a big boy and a hunk of burnin love. He was abandoned with his sister, Bonnie in a 4X4 kennel when volunteers from Dogs Deserve Better rescued them. Bonnie has found a forever home, but Clyde is still looking for his. He has been in foster care for several months. He has responded well to training and is very gentle. He lives with several cats and his favorite playmate is Hanna, a JRT. more

Her adopter should be someone who can empathize with, and have patience for a little lady who has been to the school of hard knocks for quite a long time. Baron wants to spend his golden years with you...

Baron is a neutered male pit bull who we are thinking is around 6 yrs old. Even though you would think he is in his senior years he really does not act like it. He still has a lot of get up and go and is a real joy to be around. Baron is house trained, crate trained and knows his basic obedience. He walks well on a leash and acts appropriately in the home. He is not dog aggressive but can be overbearing for some so dog intros and opposite sex placements are a must. Because of Baron's prey drive we will be looking for a home without little critters and with a fenced in yard. more

Ox is a sweet old guy...

Ox is having a difficult time living at our shelter. Even though he is let out of his kennel three to four times a day to run freely in the 2 acre yard, he seems to be very depressed. Ox probably needs to be an only child, or he might be okay with a submissive female, and a good fenced yard is suggested. He is a very sweet guy who loves attention, he is kind and gentle with every human he has come in contact with. more
